Virgin America, a new airline for Sea-Tac, has begun serving Seattle with new flights to California.
Virgin America's now flies three daily non-stop flights between Seattle and San Francisco International Airport and four daily non-stop flights between Seattle and Los Angeles International Airport. More details.
On March 1, 2009, Northwest Airlines will become the second airline to offer non-stop service between Seattle and Beijing and the first to offer daily flights. Hainan Airlines began Seattle-Beijing service in June year with four weekly flights.

A new airline and a new international route arrived at Sea-Tac Airport on March 30, 2008. Lufthansa Airlines now offers daily, non-stop service between Seattle and Frankfurt. The new flight not only connects Seattle to Germany, but also allows Lufthansa passengers to make connections to some 135 destinations in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Russia, Africa and India. JetBlue Airways has begun daily flights to both Long Beach and San Diego from Sea-Tac Airport.

Alaska Airlines, which recently began flights to Kahulai, Honolulu and Kauai, will inaugurate daily year-round flights to Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii on November 17.
