The Cell Phone Waiting Lot will be temporarily closed until mid-summer when a new lot with double the number of parking spots, almost 100, will open just north of the current site on Air Cargo Road.
One alternative for drivers, who normally use the Cell Phone Lot while waiting to pick up arriving passengers, is to park in the Airport Garage. The charge for the first 30 minutes is just $2. Please note that there is no parking or waiting allowed on the airport roadway shoulders at any time.
The Cell Phone Waiting Lot allows drivers to wait up to 30 minutes for free, until arriving passengers have deplaned, collected luggage and called to be picked up outside of Baggage Claim.
