New Floor Count System Helps Speed Travelers to Open Spaces in the Airport Parking Garage

A New Way to Pay for Parking: Use a Credit or Debit Card and Go Ticketless

You can use your credit or debit card as your ticket in and out of the Airport Garage. The ticket machines at the entrances and exits to the Airport Garage now accept any national credit card or a debit card as your “ticket” in and out of the garage. No longer do you need to take a paper ticket and worry about keeping track of it.

When your trip is over you can skip stopping at "Pay on Foot" machines in the garage and just drive up to the "Paid Ticket" line and insert the same credit or debit card you used when entering. Your receipt will be printed right after you retrieve your card.

New Garage Exit Detour: There is a new exit from the Parking Garage toll plaza. Drivers now have to make a sharp right turn after they exit the toll plaza and then “S” around to merge onto the northbound airport expressway.  In order to accommodate all the types and sizes of vehicles that need to make the turn, the far right lanes at the toll plaza are closed. There is plenty of signage marking the detour. Please drive slowly and pay close attention to directional signs. This detour will last for several months.

Travelers may leave their vehicles for extended periods. Travelers parking for more than 30 days, must make special arrangements through the Airport's Public Parking Office, (206) 433-5308. Without these arrangements, the vehicle may be considered abandoned and could be towed at the owner's expense.

Hourly Parking

Reduced Weekly Rate

Sea-Tac Airport now offers a reduced weekly rate for Daily Parking (floors 3, 5-8). Travelers headed out on a weeklong trip (more than five days, maximum of seven days) pay only $130 – all inclusive. No extra taxes. No extra fees. That’s a tremendous savings off of the regular $26 daily rate.

The special weekly discount begins after the fifth day of parking and continues until the end of the seventh day. Customers staying longer than seven days can take advantage of the $130 maximum weekly rate for each additional week of parking. Normal rates apply for partial weeks of parking, but will not exceed the special weekly rate of $130 during subsequent seven day periods. See rate chart below.

No coupon is needed; the weekly rate appears at the payment machine, on your credit or debit card for ticketless parking, or at the cashier booth upon exit.

Monthly Parking

Our Passport Parking program is available for unlimited monthly parking in the Airport Garage.

Special Needs Parking

  • Hourly Parking. More than 100 stalls are conveniently located in Hourly Parking on the 4th floor of the Airport Garage, directly connected to the main terminal by skybridges. Vehicles properly displaying valid disabled permit identification may use these spaces. Hourly parking rates apply.
  • Wheelchair Assistance from the Airport Garage (Please note: valet parking is no longer available in the Airport Garage). Travelers with disabilities, who need assistance getting from parking to terminal, may arrange for wheelchair service directly with Huntleigh, the company the Port of Seattle has contracted with for this service. To arrange for wheelchair and luggage assistance:
    1. Call Huntleigh four to six hours in advance at either (206) 824-2870 or (206) 824-2837. Their office is open daily from 4:30 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. If you have an early morning flight, please call the night before.
    2. Let the dispatcher know what time to meet you, your airline and flight number, and the number of bags you will need assistance with.

Once at the Airport:

  1. Park in the ADA designated spaces on either the fourth or fifth floor of the Airport Parking Garage
  2. Huntleigh staff will meet you at one of the color-coded elevator lobbies in the parking garage . It's a good idea to call Huntleigh from your cell phone once you're in the garage.

This service is provided at no charge, but gratuities are greatly appreciated. If you need assistance getting from the airline ticket counter through security and to your gate, you should arrange that directly with your airline.

  • Parking for Over-Height, Handicapped-Permitted Vehicles. A wheelchair-accessible path through the the first floor of the garage to the Main Terminal (via elevator) is available from the Sea-Tac Over-Height Vehicle Parking area.
  • Doug Fox Parking. This off-site lot has parking for handicapped-permitted vehicles and has shuttles with wheelchair lifts. The Doug Fox shuttle drops off travelers with disabilities directly in front of their airline on the ticketing level (upper drive) and will pick them up on the baggage claim drive (lower drive).

Over-Height Vehicle Parking

(Please note: The space in this area is currently very limited by construction projects. The number of spaces designated for handicapped-permitted vehicles, however, has not changed. Because of space limitations, vehicles over 25 feet in length must park off-site. This affects mostly semi-trucks and trailers.)

The garage clearance height is seven feet. Parking for over-height vehicles is available at the Airport.

You can access this parking area via Highway 99 / International Blvd. from the north or south. To access the parking area from SR 518, follow the signs marked "Overheight Parking" for the left exit off the Airport Expressway. The route is well marked and will take you to Highway 99 / International Blvd and the South 182nd St. Airport entrance.

  • Enter the Airport from South 182nd St. off of Highway 99 / International Blvd. and make your way into the left lane (following daily parking signs).
  • Stay in the left lane and curve to the left, then follow the signs to over-height parking (which at this point should be in front of you and to the right).
  • At the entry plaza, use the open lane on the far right and take a ticket from the machine.
  • After the gate opens, drive in and park in any of the 60-plus stalls in the outdoor area. It is within walking distance to the terminal.
  • Daily parking rates apply.

Paying for Parking

Using a Credit or Debit Card for Ticketless Parking

You can now use your credit or debit card as your ticket in and out of the Airport Garage. The ticket machines at the entrances and exits to the Airport Garage accept any national credit card or a debit card as your “ticket” in and out of the garage.

When your trip is over you can skip stopping at "Pay on Foot" machines in the garage and just drive up to the "Paid Ticket" line and insert the same credit or debit card you used when entering. Your receipt will be printed right after you retrieve your card.

Using the Pay-on- Foot Machines

For both daily and hourly parking, you pay for parking yourself on the 4th floor of the garage, just outside the skybridges, at any one of 29 black and yellow pay stations.

Three Easy Steps

  1. Take a parking ticket as you enter the garage. Keep this ticket with you.
  2. As you leave the terminal, insert your ticket in one of the exitxpress pay stations located on the 4th floor of the garage. Pay the parking fee using cash or a major credit card. The machine will validate your ticket.
  3. Insert your validated ticket in the machine at the exit gate as you leave the garage. And off you go!

The machines accept the following U.S. currency: $1, $5, $10 and $20 bills, including the new $20 currency. The machines also accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover Card and Diners Club credit cards.

Lost Parking Tickets

Parkers who have lost their parking ticket, should call the Airport Parking Office at (206) 433-5308.

Receipts

Receipts for paid parking are issued at the time of payment either at the "pay-on-foot" machines on the fourth floor (you must press the button to request your receipt) of the parking garage, in the Paid Ticket lane if you used a credit or debit card for ticketless parking, or at the cashier's booth at the exit.

Off-Airport Parking Lots

    Phone (206) 243-1410
