The Seattle Port Commission is reviewing the delegation of authority to the Port CEO, as encompassed in Resolution 3181, with the intent of strengthening Commission oversight of Port operations. Proposed changes will be in two important areas:
The Port is seeking public comment during the 30-day period from May 13th to June 11th. The public comment period has been extended to June 30th.

In December 2007, the Washington State Auditor’s Office released results of a performance audit on the Port of Seattle’s capital program, identifying 51 recommendations. In response, the Port has defined numerous action steps and is committed to making improvements to its processes. Reports are published approximately every two weeks, corresponding to regular Commission meeting days. Please check back often to track our progress.
